Give to School Gardens

Lower Columbia School Gardens raises a large portion of its budget from private donations. You can pitch in to help these gardens to grow!

Check out this short video to learn more about Lower Columbia School Gardens: how it all started, and how we engage kids and families.

Volunteers make it possible for school kids in our area to reap the benefits of garden based learning. Become a volunteer and work toward a smarter, healthier, more connected community.

What We Do

Lower Columbia School Gardens helps schools start and sustain dynamic, thriving garden programs. After expanding and refining the garden at Northlake Elementary, our team of educators, students, parents and volunteers set out to establish gardens in other local schools. Now with a presence in almost every elementary and middle school in Longview and Kelso, our staff and volunteers garden and cook with hundreds of kids every week.

LCSG helps design and build new gardens, develop curriculum, coordinate community partners and support, and facilitate weekly programs. [Visit our "About" page to read more].
